Idea on Fiona
I've been trying to think of what sort of plot Fiona could have. Maybe her plot could involve the current manager of Espresso Royal, somehow!
Earl used to work for Populor in his band, but when Populor sold out to the record executive, Earl was fired, and has had to make his living as a bass mercenary.
Le Strat met Fiona just a few months before the movie begins.
He used to work with a bassist named Nigel, who was killed in Dublin in 1916, when the Irish began their war for independence.
Why does Fiona understand the true meaning of rock and roll, when no one else does? If she ultimately turns into the strat, it could be the case that she was the spirit of rock and roll all along and that's why she put up with Le Strat and believed in him. It would also explain why Populor was so cruel to her at ERC.
Also, Populor and the Manager, Evan Frasier, have some clear synergistic possibilities. I think they should work together to fire Fiona/get Le Strat. It'll help tie the threads of the story closer together.
